Research Manager for Crime Prevention and Evaluation Research, Australian Institute of Criminology
Anthony Morgan is a Research Manager with the Australian Institute of Criminology. Since joining the AIC in 2006 Anthony has been Principal or Co-Investigator on more than 60 research projects worth over $6 million. He has spent more than ten years evaluating a wide range of government programs designed to prevent and reduce crime, including in the areas of crime and violence prevention, policing technology, specialist court models and offender rehabilitation. He has also conducted research on a wide range of crime prevention topics, including situational crime prevention, the use of CCTV and alcohol-related violence in the night time economy. Anthony has been involved in the development of local, state, national and international crime prevention strategies. In 2014 he was the recipient of the Adam Sutton Crime Prevention Award for his research into local crime prevention.
